Another of my passions is writing songs. I've been playing and singing for a long time and it is something that just comes to me. In 2004, a friend of mine, Mark Gurley, produced the CD below: "Testing the Water". It's available at CD Baby. Just me and the guitar. Nothing fancy. But, it was a lot of fun to do and I hope you enjoy some of the songs too.
Because I've been involved in music recording and playing, I know a lot about music porting from one type of media to another. I can take tapes, DVD's, video, CD's and live music and compress them for the web, or for some other electronic delivery.
I have also written and produced other CD's and they are represented here.
One of the songs I co-wrote with my music partner, Mary Beth, is "What's Your Life Song?" It's on the American Idol Underground music site in the Folk category, and has been on the top 50 chart for 17 weeks. Click on the song title and you'll hear what kind of music we write and perform.
