| The Anatomy of a Web Site. It's really not so complicated All right. So you know what a home page is, but not much else. Well, a Web site is supposed to be easy to get around or someone's not doing their job. The home page is the grabber - a cross between a magazine cover and table of contents. You've also heard of links and buttons. They are your ticket to the rest of the site. This model will help you understand a site's internal logic. Together, we will develop a site plan as a way to organize your information before production begins.
Sure, more information requires more pages, but orderliness is the key. You can see here how each catalog product has been given a separate page, a common strategy. You could also group products by type, or create a listing of products on a page.
