| Family Video/DVD Scrapbooks - Many of our clients have video that they want to share with family and friends. Sometimes these are old 16mm or 8mm film, sometimes they are old VHS tapes. These can be digitized and edited down to show only the most important shots of family and friends, rather than shots of Grandma's roses or the beautiful blue sky or ocean waves that Grandpa shot for 45 minutes!
Video Stories With Photos - I can also intersperse old photos and create photo slide shows that work with the video. For instance, one client recorded his life stories on video and gave me an envelope with photos of family members from birth to old age, with photos of the old farm house, the well, the lake, etc. As the story goes, these can be inserted into the video, so when the story comes up of how Grandpa fell down the well, you see the evil, boy-sucking picture of the well, adding diversity to the story.
Memorials and Life Stories in Photos and Video - I've also had clients give me video and or photos of someone who has just passed away and I have edited these into memorial slide shows. The same thing goes for anyone who wants to show their story for weddings, graduation, retirement, etc. They can also be compressed for video and uploaded to YouTube.com for the world.
